As I write this I am listening to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert from 2009. It's a special one for me because I actually got to attend it with my sweet husband. I think it's still just as wonderful as the first time I experienced it!
I have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and am grateful for His Atonement. Christmas celebrates the birth of our Savior and I love to remember it as such. I'm guilty of singing Christmas songs year-round but do manage to restrain myself from playing them audibly until October. I know, that's a TON of self-restraint. ;)
On most topics I find that I can write page after page elaborately detailing all my thoughts and feelings. For whatever reason, I find that Christmas evokes such strong feelings that I cannot even begin to express myself. So I will defer to someone who can.
If you haven't visited the Advent Blog I suggest you head over there RIGHT NOW! I love the wonderful messages she posts about our Savior during this Christmas season. What I think I love most about her posts though, is that everything she writes is either based on or quoted from the scriptures or our modern day prophets. Perfection.
Merry Christmas!
